  • Our part-time program is designed for working professionals who are actively pursuing a career change or advancement. The part-time schedule allows you to continue working while studying at RCB.
  • Our full-time program is just that—full time—with classes Monday through Friday. Students can complete the full-time program at an accelerated pace.
  • Students can complete the part-time program in 6 months (24 weeks).
  • Students can complete the full-time program in 3 months (12 weeks).

  • Yes, we offer all of our students extensive career support and coaching and provide multiple opportunities for students to meet with prospective employers.
  • In addition, we offer students experiential learning opportunities to further bolster their portfolio. Learn more about our career services.
  • While some background knowledge is helpful, no experience is needed as long as you are dedicated and eager to learn. Our pre-course tutorials will help you prepare for our program.
  • At RCB, it’s not about your experience, your resume or your degree—it’s about your passion and drive to succeed. Web development is tough work, and we look for students who are determined and willing to give the program their all in order to achieve life-changing results.
  • No, applicants do not need to be Rutgers students. This program is offered through the Rutgers Division of Continuing Studies.
  • Our program has an application process and is not open enrollment. Once a prospective student fills out the form or calls our admissions department, they will go through an initial phone interview with an advisor. Applicants who are recommended to move forward will then take a critical thinking and problem-solving coding test. Those who pass the academic test will have a final interview with our academic department to determine if they are accepted into the program.
  • No, the only requirement is that you be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
  • We offer the flexibility of a part-time program, allowing working professionals to study web development without leaving work, as well as a full-time program for those who want to complete the course at a faster pace.
  • We provide strong student support and career-planning assistance.
  • We provide access to a robust network of corporate partners looking to hire our grads.
  • We are part of New Jersey’s leading public university, combining the best of practical skills with credible teaching.
  • Our part-time program requires 10 hours of in-class time per week. In addition, you must be willing to dedicate a minimum of 20* hours to outside work per week (*depending on experience) in order to truly immerse yourself in the materials covered in class.
  • Our full-time program requires 30 hours of in-class time per week. You must be willing to dedicate a minimum of 20-30* hours to outside work per week (*depending on experience) in order to thrive in our FT program.
  • Yes, a reliable laptop is required for this course. Laptops can be Mac or PC, with a minimum 8GB of RAM and a dual core processor.
  • If you’re unsure if your laptop meets the requirements,  please check with our admissions advisor first and they will make sure you’re good to go.
  • No costly textbooks required, all that is needed for class is your laptop and the eagerness to learn.
  • Currently, Rutgers University alumni are eligible for a $500 scholarship toward tuition. We also offer early registration pricing and payment plans.

Yes, Rutgers Data Science Bootcamp was designed to fit the needs of working professionals with convenient evening and weekend hours.

Students can complete the program in under six months (24 weeks).
